This coupling is useful for building longer, modular, or multi-section underwater enclosures where additional internal space, cable access, or flexible system layout is required. It can be used to connect tube sections together, extend an enclosure assembly, or create access between enclosure compartments for wiring and internal connections.

By moving cable penetrator access from the end-cap to the side of the enclosure body, the coupling can improve cable routing and reduce congestion at the end-cap. This is especially helpful when the end-cap needs to remain clean and easy to remove, since cables and connections do not need to be pulled out with the end-cap during service or inspection.

The coupling is compatible with the Subsea Enclosure Acrylic Tube and Subsea Enclosure Aluminum Tube 115mm enclosure systems when used with the required mating Subsea Aluminum Flange. Acrylic and aluminum tube sections may be combined, and multiple tube sections may be chained together when additional enclosure length or internal wiring access is required.

Standard 115mm aluminum end-caps are designed for the normal flange interface and do not attach directly to the coupling. Beschreibung

The Enclosure Tube Coupling 115mm is designed to create a modular interface between compatible 115mm Blu-Sub enclosure tube sections. When used with the required Subsea Aluminum Flange, the coupling can join Subsea Enclosure Acrylic Tube sections, Subsea Enclosure Aluminum Tube sections, or mixed acrylic and aluminum enclosure tube assemblies.

In addition to joining tube sections, the coupling provides radial M10 access around the enclosure body. This is useful when cable penetrators, sealing plugs, connectors, or other compatible M10 components are better positioned along the side of the enclosure instead of through an axial end-cap. This can improve cable routing, reduce congestion at the end-cap, and allow cleaner access when removing or reinstalling the end-cap during service.

The coupling is especially useful for longer enclosure builds, modular electronics layouts, or systems where wiring needs to pass between connected tube sections. It can also help when a standard tube length is slightly too short and a small extension is required as part of a larger enclosure assembly.

A ball-end hex socket screwdriver is required during installation, as the coupling mounting screws are fastened at an inclined angle. Always verify O-ring condition, sealing surfaces, fastener installation, and port sealing before deployment.

The Enclosure Tube Coupling 115mm provides radial M10 access around the side of the enclosure body, allowing cable penetrators, sealing plugs, connectors, or other compatible M10 components to be positioned around the coupling instead of only through an axial end-cap.

This layout can improve cable routing, reduce congestion at the end-cap, and make servicing easier by allowing the enclosure end closure to remain cleaner and easier to remove. When cables and connections are routed through the coupling body, the end-cap can be removed or reinstalled with less interference from external wiring.

The Enclosure Tube Coupling 115mm does not connect directly to an enclosure tube. It is designed to mate with the Subsea Aluminum Flange, which provides the required sealing and mounting interface between the coupling and each compatible 115mm tube section.

For joining two enclosure tube sections, each tube end requires its own Subsea Aluminum Flange. The coupling is then installed between the flanged tube ends to create a modular connection with radial M10 access around the coupling body.

This flange-based interface allows the coupling to be used with compatible Subsea Enclosure Acrylic Tube and Subsea Enclosure Aluminum Tube sections in the 115mm enclosure series.
