DESCRIPTION
The Subsea M10 Signal Indicator is a robust, high-visibility LED indicator designed for underwater status signaling at depths up to 1,000 m. Housed in a durable PC and anodized aluminum shell, this compact unit mounts via a standard M10×1 bulkhead thread and fits Ø10.1 mm panel holes, making it compatible with a wide range of subsea enclosures and control panels.
The indicator features a 5 mm round diffused LED built into the head, providing a wide viewing angle even in low-visibility marine environments. It is available in three LED color options—red, green, or blue—with average luminous intensities of 400 mcd, 1,500 mcd, and 300 mcd respectively. The device includes an integrated driver circuit, allowing it to operate directly from 4–28 VDC without any external electronics. Connection is straightforward via the pre-wired 200 mm leads: red for Power+ and black for Power–.
This indicator is commonly used for applications such as system status monitoring, power-on notification, or function confirmation on underwater vehicles and instruments. The current draw is minimal (0.02 A max), and brightness remains stable across the supported voltage range.
Note: From the light-emitting surface, small internal air bubbles may be visible. This is a normal part of the molding process and does not affect the product’s watertight integrity or performance. If the transparent lens cover is cracked or damaged by impact, the product should no longer be used, as this would compromise its sealing and function.

Is there an internal driver, and does it light up when connected directly to the positive and negative?
The internal driver is integrated, and it lights up when it is connected to positive or negative.
Is the brightness the same across the voltage range?
The brightness is the same within the voltage range.
What will happen if I exceed or fall below the rated voltage?
If the rated voltage is exceeded, the indicator will be damaged. If the voltage is too low, the brightness will be reduced.
Can I use the transparent cover of the head if it is cracked by impact?
No, you should stop using it immediately, as it will leak and be damaged.
Can I use it as a power indicator? How do I connect the power display?
The power display requires signal control and cannot directly display the power level, but it can be switched to show the power-on status.
