A minimum distance of ≥ 0.6 mm between the outer diameters of adjacent bulkhead components is recommended to allow proper wrench insertion and reliable engagement during installation or removal. Keep in mind that actual spacing may also be influenced by mounting hole tolerances and installation alignment.
Why does the wrench opening widen, deform, or slip when excessive force is applied?
This typically occurs when the wrench is over-tightened beyond the recommended torque range. Blu-Sub bulkhead components can achieve proper installation torque without excessive force. If deformation occurs, the wrench opening may sometimes be gently pressed back into shape to restore proper engagement.
What are the four round holes in the wrench used for?
The holes allow the included screw and nut to be installed through the wrench, creating a temporary handle. This can provide additional leverage or improved control when tightening or loosening components.
Can this wrench be used with a torque wrench?
