O-Ring Lubricant – MOLYKOTE® 111 Compound
DuPont MOLYKOTE® 111 Compound is a high-performance, one-component silicone lubricant specifically designed for sealing, lubricating, and protecting elastomeric components such as O-rings and gaskets. It offers excellent water resistance, low volatility, and a wide service temperature range, making it ideal for use in subsea and pressurized environments.
This compound is fully compatible and recommended for use with all Blu-Sub product O-rings. When applied during assembly or maintenance, it helps maintain watertight integrity, prevents sticking, and extends the lifespan of seals by reducing wear and deformation.
Commonly used in outdoor equipment, electrical insulators, and pressure systems, MOLYKOTE® 111 is known for its stability under extreme conditions and resistance to water washout. It is available in two packaging formats to suit different needs:
